Loyalty Card / Gift Card Testing and Reporting Services
Why Test Loyalty and Gift Cards?An issuer of Loyalty / Gift cards can utilise various card technologies based on the card's intended use. Some can include the use of higher technologies such as Powered card/Display cards or even the use of LED & LCD displays.
A card that doesn’t work will cause frustration and could result in the loss of customers. These cards may be manufactured in bulk with less concern given to ensuring the cards meet required specifications which could result in more likelihood of in-field failure and thus a high cost of replacement.
Testing ServicesPhysical and Durability tests are recommended to be performed on Loyalty Cards and Gift Cards. CTI can provide such specialised and customised acceptance quality testing. Card Service Life, which tests whether the card will reach its expected life time, is tailored according to your unique card usage predictions and includes a sequence of tests.
Some of the standalone tests which can be performed include Card Dimensions, Card Flexure, Card Bending Stiffness, Magnetic Stripe Performance and Card Peel Strength (delamination or peeling of the laminate). Many other tests can be performed according to your card features, usage or area of concern.
