CTI gains latest VISA accreditation
Card Testing International is proud to become one of the first VISA accredited labs for Innovative Card Product testing. This achievement reflects CTI’s experience from over 20 years of testing the latest cutting edge materials and embedded technologies.
From metal cards to dynamic CVV displays, the last decade has seen rapid growth in new ways to make payments more exciting and secure. The latest tech in card production includes unique card shapes, exotic materials, electronic displays, fingerprint readers, interactive buttons and many more.
The introduction of the VISA Innovative Card Product test process in August 2018 will allow banks and financial institutions to further enhance the versatility and security of payments, while retaining reliability with existing readers and equipment. The testing forms an important step prior to the release of Innovative Card Products given that there is often little or no experience by the card manufacturer or issuer on how the Innovative feature will perform in the real world.
